Supply Chain Intelligence
Granular data on the equipment behind the US data center buildout. We follow generators, turbines, transformers, switchgear, cable and memory from the companies that make them to the sites that install them, one unit and one filing at a time.
Granular data on the equipment that sets the pace.
Supply Chain Intelligence covers the equipment that decides when new data center capacity can come online, and it keeps growing as we add sources.
Generators & on-site power
Every data center has to permit its backup generators, and a growing number permit turbines, engines and fuel cells to make their own power. We capture each unit from US permit filings: how many, how large, whose engine, what fuel, and how many hours a year it may run.
unit count, rating, make and model, emissions tier, fuel, duty, hours limit, on-site MW
Power equipment & exports
Transformers, switchgear and high-voltage cable are among the longest-lead items in a data center. We track order backlog, new orders, plant utilization, capacity and contract wins at the manufacturers that make them, including the Korean suppliers that export much of this equipment to the US.
backlog, new orders, utilization, capacity, capex, export mix, contracts
Memory
Facility investment, capacity and R&D disclosures from Korean memory makers, on the same timeline and identifiers as the rest of our data.
facility investment, capacity, R&D, segment revenue
Projects, delays & cancellations
A site-level view of more than 500 US data center projects and how their plans change over time: new applications, expansions, resized equipment lists, stalled permits and withdrawals.
site, operator, developer, event, filed date, status history
We add new sources and equipment classes continuously. If you are looking for something specific in the data center supply chain, tell us what you need and we will tell you what we have.
What one site looks like in the data.
This is the shape of a single site record. The applicant on the filing is usually a project LLC; we resolve it to the operator behind it and record how confident we are. Each piece of equipment is its own line, with its count, rating and maker.
Every record carries two timestamps, when the document became public and when we first captured it, and a link back to the page it came from.

Common questions.
Anything else, get in touch.
Where does the data come from?
Public sources and filings: regulatory disclosures from listed manufacturers and permit records from US agencies, among others. Our work is in collecting, unmasking, translating, normalizing, deduplicating and linking them. The methodology page explains how.
How often is it updated?
Daily. New filings typically appear in the feed within a day of publication.
Is there any material non-public information?
No. Everything we collect has been made public by a regulator, an agency or the company itself.
How is it delivered?
As flat files, through a cloud data share, or through an API, with alerts and briefings for the people who need the story behind the numbers. We will set it up around your workflow.
Can we try it before we buy?
Yes. We start with a call to understand your universe, send a historical sample with the data dictionary, and then offer a trial of the live feed.
Get a sample built around your universe.
Send us your tickers, regions or equipment. We will send back historical records and the data dictionary.
